social media that works

From my experience since 2006 - now ( almost 7 years)

Facebook: a bit of text + image/ video + question to interact with the audience

Tumblr: image/ video (+ a bit of info if neccessary)

Twitter: a bit of text + link in between text + hashtags

Youtube: 3-5 minutes, more image/ visual than words/ speech

Blogger/ Wordpress: content writing, a small amount of image, video if needed

LinkedIn: career/  business related post (can edit the post with hashtags for twitter at the same time!)

G+: academic/ more serious info
